Larger scale projects

DMCDD may upon request from the Danish member organisations also assist to obtain support for larger development interventions directly from Danida.

For projects with a total budget of more than DKK 500.000 and up to DKK 3.000.000, applications may be submitted to a joint NGO Fund. This fund is financed by Danida and administered by the Project Counselling Service. There are four yearly deadlines: January, April, July and October 1st. 

For projects with a total budget of more than DKK 3.000.000, applications have to be submitted directly to the Office for NGO Cooperation in Danida, the Ministry of Foreign Affaires. The two yearly deadlines are: February and September 1st. 

DMCDD can assist with the preparation and formulation of project documents and applications as well as assume responsibility for and participate in the administration, monitoring, implementation and reporting on and accounting for larger projects. This will happen in close cooperation with the member organisations concerned.
